Lisa M. Golden is a partner in the firm's Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Practice Groups, where she represents secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees and other interested parties in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency and commercial law. Ms. Golden has represented and continues to represent a full spectrum of commercial and business clients in major bankruptcies and reorganizations. Recently, her practice has focused on high profile telecommunications cases including Global Crossing, Adelphia Business Systems, XO Communications and WorldCom. Over the past few years, Ms. Golden has become involved in high income/asset, complex matrimonial litigation, which complements her skills and experience in business/commercial transactions and litigation. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Golden worked for
the Honorable R. Burton Lifland, the then Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the
Southern District of New York, where she worked on high profile cases
including Eastern Airlines, Johns Manville and LTV Steel. Ms. Golden received
her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and her undergraduate degrees
from Fordham University. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and
the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District
on New York.
