Laurel R. Kretzing is a partner in the Firm's Litigation and Municipal Practice Groups, where she represents both private and municipal clients. She concentrates her practice in civil rights, land use, environmental law, construction law and commercial litigation. She has substantial trial and appellate experience in both the State and Federal Courts. Ms. Kretzing received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 1985 and her B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University in 1981. Ms. Kretzing served as a Deputy County Attorney in the Nassau County Attorney's Office from 1986 to 1989 where she handled tax certiorari, construction, municipal litigation and environmental matters. She also served as Chairperson of the Nassau County Recycling Task Force from 1988 to 1989. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Nassau County Women's Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Kretzing is admitted to practice before the United
States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Districts
for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
