Steven Maffei is an associate in the Firm's Litigation and
Family Law Practice
Groups, where he concentrates in the areas of domestic relations and criminal
litigation.
Prior to joining Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, Mr. Maffei was an Assistant
District Attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney Office, where
he was a trial attorney handling cases which ranged from felony gun possession
to attempted murder.
Mr. Maffei received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University
and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member
of the Moot Court Honor Society, Trial Division, and was awarded Best
Advocate at the 6th Annual National White Collar Crime Competition.
Mr. Maffei is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York,
as well as the Federal District Court of the Eastern District of New
York. He is a member of the New York State Bar, New York City
Lawyers and Puerto Rican Bar Associations.
