Stephen P. Epstein is a partner in the Firm's Real Estate and Construction Practice Groups, where he represents lenders and real estate developers in various types of transactions. His broad-based commercial real estate experience includes mortgage foreclosure litigation, involvement in the condominium conversion of over fifty properties, and commercial leasing.

Prior to joining Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, Mr. Epstein was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Imperial Properties, Inc., a real estate developer. He was also one of the founding members of a New York City law firm that specialized in representing organized tenant groups in buildings undergoing cooperative conversion and real estate litigation.

Mr. Epstein received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and to the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York. Mr. Epstein is a member of the New York State Bar Association and has been a guest lecturer at seminars given by the New York State Bar Association, The New York Law Journal, the New York County Trial Lawyers Association, the Brooklyn Bar Association and Council of New York Cooperatives.
