Thomas J. Garry

Thomas J. Garry is a Partner in the firm's Litigation Practice Group, and has extensive experience in commercial litigation, real estate development law, and municipal law. Mr. Garry previously served as interim Village Attorney of The Incorporated Village of Hempstead. Mr. Garry is a recognized authority on New York State Election Law and he has acted as counsel to numerous New York political campaigns. Mr. Garry is currently Vice Chairman of the Nassau County Democratic Committee.

Mr. Garry also serves as Chief Counsel to the Democratic Commissioner of The Nassau County Board of Elections, an agency charged with the conduct of elections in a jurisdiction of over 800,000 voters and an annual budget over ten ($10,000.000.00) million dollars.

Mr. Garry received his B.A. in 1991 and his J.D. in 1994 from St. John’s University. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995 and is admitted to the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. He is a member of The New York State Bar Association, Association of the Bar in The City of New York and The Nassau County Bar Association.
