David E. Paseltiner, a Partner in the Corporate and Banking Practice Group, has been reappointed chairman of the board for the Education and Assistance Corporation (EAC). Established in 1969, EAC is a not-for-profit agency providing a broad array of educational, vocational, counseling, mediation and intervention services to protect children, promote healthy families and communities, help seniors and empower individuals to take control of their lives. In addition to serving as an EAC board member for
over ten years, chairing numerous committees of the board, and acting
as secretary, treasurer and vice chairman of the agency, Mr. Paseltiner
is the vice president of the board of directors for Long Island Cares,
the Harry Chapin Food Bank, where he also serves as a member of its executive
and finance committees. Mr. Paseltiner has also served on the board for
the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation – Long Island Chapter.
