Partner Mary Walsh was a featured speaker at the New York State Land Title Association's 88th Annual Convention

Maribeth Walsh, a partner in the Firm's Elder Law and Trust and Estates Practice Groups, was a featured speaker at the New York State Land Title Association's 88th Annual Convention in Saratoga Springs, New York.  Ms. Walsh addressed the topic of "Title Issues Related To Increasing Longevity". 

Among other things, Ms. Walsh discussed Article 81 guardianship proceedings, reverse mortgages, life estates and trusts.  Ms. Walsh also spoke about underwriting considerations pertaining to short sales and flips.  Ms. Walsh joined Jaspan Schlesinger LLP in September of 2008 after working for some twenty-plus years in the title insurance industry.
