Partner Maureen Liccione Gives Continuing Legal Education Course to Town Attorneys

On Monday, February 16, 2009, Maureen Liccione, a partner in the Municipal and Environmental Department, provided a continuing legal education course to Town attorneys from towns throughout the State at the Association of Towns Annual Meeting and Training Session. Maureen covered recent appellate court litigation involving prior notice of sidewalk defects and public notice of town code zoning amendments.

The Association of Towns of the State of New York serves town governments by providing training programs, research and information services, technical assistance, legal services and a variety of publications. Virtually all towns in New York State are members of the Association.
